Maya Angelou was an American memoirist, writer, poet, actress and civil rights activist. She published seven autobiographies, three books of essays, several books of poetry, and is credited with a list of plays, movies, and television shows spanning over 50 years. “Phenomenal Woman” is indeed a remarkable poem penned by the illustrious Maya Angelou. This empowering piece celebrates the strength, allure, and resilience of women.
Fashion, like a multifaceted gem, reflects both language and poetry. Fashion transcends mere language; it’s poetry in motion. Whether draped in prose or adorned with rhymes, fashion whispers stories, paints emotions, and dances to its own rhythm—a language, a poetry, forever entwined. To best exhibit how: the vocabulary of Valentino is reinterpreted through the lens of poetry for the Fall 2019. Placed on every seat was a book of poetry called Valentino ON LOVE, a compilation of works by Greta Bellamacina, Mustafa the Poet, Yrsa Daley-Ward and Montgomery. Have a look above.

January 13, 2024. Founded by Dylan Richards Diaz and Sebastian Hunt in 2020, (former Kanye West's Yeezy design creators) Entire Studios is launching their capsule limited addition outerwear collection available January 13. Spotted on many celebrities, it is some of the most future-forward and eye-catching outerwear on the current market. Deliberately using no adorned logo, the duo believes in designing clothes that are made for everyone regardless of age gender or body type at an affordable price. A classic to add to anyone's wardrobe.
Following the footsteps of Virgil Abloh, Pharell Williams made LV his own. He broke the collection up into five pillars: Dandy (formal wear); Comfort (for running errands or taking a flight); Resort (for vacationing); Sport (for physical activities); and Core Staples (the special hit pieces he plans on iterating each season.) Pharell Williams' first show as the Creative Director for Louis Vuitton proved to be a success.
January 5, 2024. This is the second collaboration between the two, the first in 2019. The Japanese streetwear company celebrates the year of the dragon for the Lunar New Year. The Bape STA logo is a focal point of the collection and is enveloped with a golden dragon along with, MCM’s signature Visetos symbolizing confidence and irreverent style in the new year.
January 2, 2024. It's been over twenty years since eight times Grammy Award winner Luther Vandross died of a stroke in 2003. Slated to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 21st, the documentary Luther: Never Too Much is directed by award-winning filmmaker Dawn Porter. The film focuses on his legacy and influence on the music world, as well as some of his personal struggles.
Luther Vandross is an American treasure who we knew very little about. It is a welcomed film about an icon whose music is celebrated and enjoyed by many around the world.
